Some might say about time! Some might say who cares! Some might say beware of the cunning Foxes. Leon Stapley FINALLY dons the GM patch for the newly created Garfield Foxes. Leon having played SL Domestic since season one, is ready and eager to lead the way with this new franchise.
What was your main focus coming into the draft?
I wanted to play with likeminded players. So Flanners was very high on my radar. We’ve played a lot of basketball together over the years.
And do you feel you achieved that?
Yeah I am really happy with my side. Very well rounded.
How do you feel your franchise will go this season?
Really well. I haven’t chosen the players I have to do poorly. Everyone will play a key role in the Foxes success.
Your franchise is sporting a new look, tell us a little bit about that.
This is one of the cooler parts of SL. The boys come up with cool concepts every season. So I guess its no difference this season.
